The warmest and driest July in Reykjavik

Tuesday, 04 August 2009
The month of July was the sunniest, warmest and dryest month in Reykjavik for a long time. It was the driest since 1886 and the 4th warmest since beginning of measuring.

Now it is raining for the first time but the temperature is still around 15-17 degrees. As said before the summer in Iceland is usually with temperatures between 13-20°C. Everything over 16°C is considered warm.

Now August has begun and we often have good days or weeks there as well. More on that later in the month.

There will be coming a lot of extra material about Reykjavik and Iceland on this website during August. We will be taking pictures and videos that will be put up here and I personally look forward to publishing this.

Until later... Rgds, ReykjavikHotel.net
