Hofdi
Hofdi(Höfði) is best known internationally as being the place where Reagan (USA) and Gorbachev (USSR) met in the 1986 Iceland Summit.
Hofdi is centrally located and in walking distance from most of the hotels in Reykjavik. Hofdi is located in Borgartun, just about 10 minutes walk from the east end of the main shopping street Laugavegur. It was built in 1909 and is today mainly used for ceremonies. It is owned by Reykjavik City.
